These last few weeks have been anything but normal. There has been very little structure in my life. Lots of time to be creative. Hours upon hours of just doing my own thing with no obligations to go anywhere. No real worries or concerns just taking things one day at a time.
I was not one to partake in wearing my PJs all day. I got up. Made my bed. Got dressed. Yes I skipped make-up and hair some days while other days it felt good to dress up to go nowhere. Being at home had its benefits but this morning was a good time for things to get back to some sort of normalcy.

Today was my first day back to work. I got up. Got dressed. Arrived early to work. As the day rolled out in front of me it created a sense that perhaps the world will go back to what it was before all this craziness happened. I was seated at my desk. Answering phones. Replying to emails. Drinking coffee. Catching up with co-workers.
Then suddenly the work day was over and just like that I put my mask on to stop at the grocery store…..

And that was the moment when I reminded myself, “Normal is just a settting on a dryer.”
That’s right! Each day is unique and new! One day at a time!!!😊
