For God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY Son to die for you….John 3:16 (paraphrased)
How many times do my husband and I go back and forth about who loves who more? Too many times to count for sure. The love God has birthed in us is different than most for sure. We have a very playful, childlike relationship that many do not understand but we do.
We often find ourselves just resting and imagining ourselves in the meadow running, laughing and just hanging out as small children. We carry this imaginative state into our real lives sometimes and I think it’s what keeps us real.
Often life can bog us down and we find it difficult to let ourselves have any fun. We get so caught up in what we have to do that we forget living life. We get busy with work and forget that our spouse or children are waiting to spend time with us. At this stage we often take the people in our lives for granted.
I pray everyday that God keeps our relationship alive with laughter and play time. I cherish those days when the only communication we actually have is about who loves who more.
God sent His Son to us so that we may enjoy life. Jesus died so that we may live. Choose today to learn how to live and love. May it be your choice to love more. May you bring life to your relationship by being completely in love with God so that His sufficient love falls into the hearts of your family and friends.
