Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Where does all life begin? It starts in seed form and then these roots begin to grow. Now depending on what kind of soil the seed is planted in, it will bloom and grow and take root. If we look at each other through the eyes of understanding we would see all the roots we have growing in our spirit. Some roots are bad and some are good depending on where and when the seed was planted.
Exposure of these very roots is exactly what so many of us need so that we can move on in life. There are rejection roots and depression ones. There are bitterness and unbelief roots along with anger and unforgiveness. There are a multitude of roots which could be inside any one of us right now and why would we not want to rip them out of us?
Why do you think we have such a hard time dealing with things? I feel it’s because we never dig deep enough to find the root of the problem so we just keep piling things on top of it to cover it up. We then carry this unexposed pain with us into every aspect of our lives and soon we are baffled as to what is really going on when if we would just spend enough time digging a little deeper we would expose the roots to the problem.
Is it time for exposure? It is finally time for a change in your life? I know when I exposed some of my roots it was ugly, however, once I began the digging and dealing with the roots, my life began to change drastically for the better. I now no longer carry past hurts and bitterness into my current circumstances. The more I grow my roots on the solid Word of God, the more I flourish as a person in all aspects of live.
