Faith starts with believing God can do the impossible. The beginning of believing God can do incredible things is trust. There is a place in our lives where we have to stop listening to the lies and take action. For you see friends, faith is an action word. It wasn’t meant to be something we just watch happening.
Now this doesn’t mean we always have to do manual labor. Some times He calls us to pray. Other times to prophecy. He may ask us to help someone else in need first. But all of these things take faith in believing God will even do anything for your situation.
To be honest, I have really struggled with this house not being finished yet. Winter is just around the corner. I have just felt stuck in the same place. Not sure some days what God is up to. Yet I believe with all that is in me that He will turn this situation to good.
Tonight I put some curtains up to act as walls for my bathroom. I am proclaiming that these will become real walls soon. I think I shared in an earlier blog that I am in the process of setting everything into place as if the house was finished. I cannot express to you in words how nice it is to come home to some appearance of normalcy.
As soon as I finished putting up my walls I found my cat parked over a scripture in the rafters. She doesn’t often sit there, guess I need to read that particular verse today.
And so it will be! I will continual thank God. I will sing in the middle of my storm! I will thank God for the finished home. I will speak to those empty spaces and open rafters until they are covered with lumber and paint. I will keep pressing in until He moves this mountain. There is nothing too hard for God.
